Hardware and Software

Hardware is the physical equipment inside or connected to a computer.

Examples include the processor, memory, storage, keyboard, display, and network equipment.

Software is the collection of instructions that controls the hardware.

Hardware without software has no useful direction. Software without hardware has nowhere to run.
