Module 1 – Meet Flying V through the Agila SDK

Page 1 of 3 · About 15 minutes per lesson, including practice.

A small program with an observable result

Flying V is Agila's application language. Begin with one action you can understand: send a message to the SDK logger. import agila names the SDK module, fn main() defines the entry point, and the braces enclose its instructions. The single-quoted text is the message supplied to agila.log.

import agila

fn main() {
    agila.log('I can explain this program')
}

The supplied sandbox logger prints [Agila app] I can explain this program. Predict that full line, then change only the message and run again. The prefix comes from the SDK implementation, not from your string. This distinction is your first example of separating your application's code from a library it calls.
