Module 2 – The Operating Systems That Inspired Agila
Great Ideas Don’t Start From Nothing
No operating system is created in isolation.
- Windows learned from earlier systems.
- Linux learned from UNIX.
- macOS evolved from NeXTSTEP.
- Android uses the Linux kernel.
Agila follows the same engineering tradition.
Rather than copying another operating system, Agila studies decades of computer science to understand why certain ideas succeeded and how they can be improved.
