Module 2 – Explain and contribute

Page 3 of 3 · About 15 minutes per lesson, including practice.

Publish evidence and choose the next task

15-minute session: read for 3 minutes, trace for 3, experiment for 7, and complete the check for 2. Spend longer whenever you need.

Use your authorized Forge account to publish a focused branch or repository and open a pull request. Describe the trigger, resulting behavior, test commands, results, and limits. A University track certificate is issued from its automated checks; it does not mean a patch was accepted by a maintainer.

Your experiment

Prepare a patch report using CONTRIBUTING.md. Link the source commit and test evidence, then pick one next task that extends your demonstrated skill.

Practice and evidence

Keep three notes: your prediction, the actual result, and why they match or differ. The completion check grades understanding; the practice task builds skill.
